At the recently concluded International Display Technology and Application Innovation Expo (DIC EXPO 2024), companies including VISTAR, TIANMA, Najing Tech, and WG Tech showcased their latest Micro LED-related products and technologies. Below is a brief overview.
VISTAR
At this year’s DIC EXPO, VISTAR highlighted its latest large-format P0.7 TFT-based Micro LED modular display.
This product features China’s first dedicated Micro LED driver IC, achieving 10-bit color depth and a maximum contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Utilizing LTPS TFT technology and mass transfer techniques, the product reduces over 90% of components within the module and boasts a single-transfer yield rate of 99.995%, which reaches 100% after repair.
TIANMA
TIANMA presented its 7.6-inch IRIS-HUD, which incorporates Micro LED display technology to deliver a brightness of 5,000 nits. The display projects images onto a reflective glass, which then reflects the visuals back to the viewer’s eyes, creating a projection display. This technology holds promise for use in automotive windshield projection displays, improving driving safety.

WG Tech
WG Tech introduced the world’s first PM-driven 110-inch glass-based Micro LED display. This product employs a 3μm thick copper TGV glass substrate along with a novel COB encapsulation patented technology, which significantly reduces production costs.

Najing Tech
Najing Tech showcased its quantum dot photoresist and cadmium-free quantum dot ink, which are compatible with OLED, silicon-based OLED, Mini LED, and Micro LED display technologies for color conversion. The cadmium-free quantum dot ink is primarily used in medium- to large-sized display products.
