On December 6, TCL held the unveiling ceremony for its Intelligent Manufacturing Base for Displays in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu, China. This marks the trial production launch of TCL’s first-ever global gaming monitor production facility.
TCL Optoelectronics and Its Role in the Global Supply Chain
According to available data, TCL Optoelectronics, established in 2021, primarily manufactures core components for various electronics. It is a crucial part of TCL’s global supply chain and plays an important role in providing consumer electronics manufacturing capabilities for the domestic Western Chinese market, as well as Central Asia, Western Asia, Central Europe, and Eastern Europe.

Full-Process Production at TCL’s Intelligent Manufacturing Base
The trial production at this TCL Display Intelligent Manufacturing Base will cover the full production process, including gaming monitor module assembly, Mini LED backlight module manufacturing, SMT component placement, full machine assembly, and inspection and testing. Additionally, the base will house a gaming monitor bonded R&D center and will support the production of TCL LCD TV modules and finished products, ultimately aiming to become TCL’s LCD TV export processing base.
Global Reach: Products and Export Channels
It is reported that from signing the agreement to the trial production, the TCL Display Intelligent Manufacturing Base took less than five months to complete. Products produced here will be sold globally, with some shipments heading to Europe, Southeast Asia, and other regions through the Chengdu International Railway Express.
