Sony has officially launched its Bravia 9 TV, now available on JD.com. This new model features Mini LED backlighting with a 325% increase in dimming zones compared to last year’s X95L, and it comes in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes (the 75-inch variant is not yet available).
Pricing Details
- 65-inch: $2,557
- 75-inch: $3,105 (not yet available)
- 85-inch: $4,488

The Bravia 9 series is equipped with an innovative 22-bit Mini LED panel that boosts brightness by 50% compared to the X95L. Sony claims that this technology not only significantly enhances screen brightness but also achieves near-OLED deep blacks, resulting in exceptional contrast.
Features and Performance
The Bravia 9 TV supports 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz, along with variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM), features inherited from the 2023 gaming TVs. It also includes an automatic tone mapping and gaming menu specifically designed for the PlayStation 5, and comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports.
The TV is outfitted with a 2.2.2 channel speaker system, supporting Sony’s Acoustic Multi Audio+ technology. Notably, it has two beam tweeters positioned above the screen for a more direct and expansive audio experience.

Enhanced Audio Experience
Additionally, the Bravia 9 offers Voice Zoom 3 functionality to enhance dialogue in TV programs, and the Acoustic Center Sync feature allows the TV to function as a center speaker when connected to compatible Sony soundbars.
The television also supports Dolby Atmos and DTSaudio technologies, and is certified by IMAX Enhanced, ensuring an immersive audio-visual experience for users.
