On February 10, 2025, the Shenzhen Lighting and Display Engineering Industry Association (SLDA) launched the revision of the T/SLDA 007—2022 ‘Mini LED Displays for Indoor Commercial Application’ group standard. This initiative aims to enhance the technical advancement and industry applicability of the standard, promoting the high-quality development of the Mini LED industry.

Background and Key Updates
In 2020, the association led nearly 100 leading enterprises to release the T/SLDA 01—2020 ‘General Technical Specifications for Mini LED Commercial Display Screens,’ marking the world’s first standard for Mini LED commercial display screens and filling a significant industry gap.
The revised T/SLDA 007—2022 standard builds upon the core content of T/SLDA 01—2020, focusing on advanced and high-quality levels. It sets benchmarks that are stricter than national standards and at least on par with similar standards. The standard summarizes recent developments and technological achievements in Mini LED display screens, providing a reference for product technological innovation and quality improvement.
Shenzhen Standard Certification and Benefits
Notably, the T/SLDA 007—2022 standard has passed the Shenzhen Standard Advancement Evaluation and can be adopted by Mini LED indoor commercial display screen manufacturers or product providers for Shenzhen Standard Certification. It also serves as a reference for industry authorities, testing, and certification bodies in evaluating the advancement of such products.
Shenzhen Standard Certification evaluates and certifies advanced products, strengthening the ‘hard constraints‘ of standards to guide the industry toward higher quality levels. Certified enterprises can use the ‘Shenzhen Standard Certification‘ logo on their products and may receive special subsidies of up to 200,000 yuan from the Shenzhen municipal and corresponding district governments.
Call for Participation
This standard revision is based on the ‘Shenzhen Lighting and Display Engineering Industry Association Group Standard Management Measures‘ and was approved for initiation after the standard review meeting on November 28, 2024. The drafting units are required to strictly follow relevant regulations, organize the compilation promptly, improve the quality of standard preparation, and ensure the task is completed on schedule. Enterprises, universities, research institutions, and other units related to Mini LED indoor commercial display screens are welcome to join the standard revision and compilation work.
