On May 21, SiTan Tech, a semiconductor display company specializing in Micro LED technology, announced the completion of a Series B funding round, raising tens of millions of yuan. The round was led by SiTek, a publicly listed company on the A-share market specializing in intelligent testing equipment, with additional investment from Guangdong Financial Investment Zhongyin. Including the previously completed Series B1 round, SiTan Tech has raised over 150 million yuan in Series B funding. The funds will be used for the mass production and market expansion of Micro LED display chips, as well as further enriching SiTan Tech’s industry chain resources.
In conjunction with the new funding round, SiTan Tech’s Micro LED production line is also approaching mass production status. The company disclosed that its production line in Xiamen is now fully completed and is expected to commence mass production within the second quarter of this year.
SiTan Tech’s Micro LED production line is located in the Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone of Xiamen. The chip design base is SiTan Semiconductor, while SiTan Integration serves as the Phase I production base. The design annual capacity is set to reach 6 million sets of display chips, aiming to advance Micro LED technology from pilot testing to mass production.

Notably, SiTan Tech has accumulated over 700 intellectual property rights in the field of Micro LED technology, with more than 400 granted. The company is currently focused on two major business lines: AR/XR and automotive applications, with three key product specifications: 0.13”, 0.2”, and 0.45”.
In the AR/XR product line, SiTan Tech plans to first mass-produce a single-green 0.13-inch Micro LED display this year, designed to meet the high-brightness outdoor requirements for AR/XR applications. Additionally, the 0.2-inch full-color display continues to be upgraded, with plans for mass production and shipment next year.
In the automotive sector, SiTan has introduced an innovative white light solution. The 0.2-inch and 0.45-inch products are designed for pixel-based welcome lights and intelligent front headlights, respectively.
