Recent Developments in Sapien’s Contracts
On July 22, Micro LED driver chip manufacturer Sapien Semiconductor (referred to as “Sapien”) announced that it has signed a CMOS backplane development contract with a European microdisplay module supplier. The contract is valued at 3.939 billion Korean won (approximately 20.72 million yuan).
In June, Sapien also secured a CMOS backplane development contract worth 4.395 billion Korean won (around 23.07 million yuan) with an Asian Micro LED display manufacturer. Within just two months, Sapien has received a total of over 8 billion Korean won in orders.
