Overview of Nationstar‘s New Project
According to a report from Nanzhuang on September 2, the Deputy Mayor of Chancheng District, Ye Hua, led a team to inspect the construction of two key projects: Nationstar and the Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing Port (Geely Park). Nationstar’s Geely Industrial Park project has been completed and is set to begin trial production soon.
Nationstar’s Investment and Infrastructure
Nationstar Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of LED and LED application products. The Geely Industrial Park in Chancheng District has a total investment of no less than $286 million and covers a building area of 190,000 square meters. This facility will serve as a base for research and development, as well as production, with advanced LED packaging and application production lines. The focus will be on RGB fine pitch, Mini LED, and TOP/CHIP LED products, primarily for ultra-high-definition displays, intelligent car lights, smart homes, and ultraviolet sterilization.
Project Development Timeline
Between 2019 and 2020, Nationstar secured approximately 82 acres of land in Nanzhuang’s Geely Industrial Park with a total investment of at least 2 billion yuan. This investment aimed to establish LED packaging production lines for applications in ultra-high-definition displays, intelligent car lights, and smart homes. Groundbreaking for this project occurred on March 31, 2020. With the overall construction now complete, trial production will commence shortly.
Modern Facilities and Future Plans
At the Geely Industrial Park, Nationstar’s LED device packaging and application industry base features several newly constructed buildings that stand out in modern architecture. This state-of-the-art park includes R&D and production facilities, advanced LED packaging lines, and a focus on RGB fine pitch, Mini LED, and TOP LED products. The project will also integrate smart display technologies, 5G, and advanced digital systems, aiming to create an automated production line and a model intelligent factory.
