    On August 28, TCL, a global leader in television technology, hosted its “What You See is the Majesty of the World” event, where it officially launched the 115″ X11G Max QD-Mini LED TV. Designed to offer an unmatched luxury aesthetic and the ultimate viewing experience, this new model sets dual benchmarks in both size and display quality, aiming to redefine the standards for high-end, large-screen televisions.

    The TCL 115″ X11G Max is not only the largest QD-Mini LED TV in the world but also the first to feature over 20,000 lighting zones. Its 115-inch IMAX-sized screen offers a fourfold increase in backlighting zones, surpassing 20,000. The TV boasts a peak brightness of XDR 5000 nits, the highest in the industry. With its A++ Butterfly Star Screen, QD-Mini LED visual enhancement chip, Anchor 6.2.2 Hi-Fi sound system, sleek user interface, and ultra-slim unibody design, this TV seamlessly fits into luxury homes, further solidifying TCL’s leadership in the Mini LED and large-screen TV markets.

    Achieving New Dimensions with the 115″ Giant Screen

    While size is fundamental in luxury living, it is the overall experience that matters most. According to the China Video Industry Association, a 98″ TV is optimal for viewers sitting 3.3 meters from the screen, providing ideal horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 36° and 20°, respectively. However, at a distance of 4.0 meters, a 115″ screen becomes the preferred choice. For many luxury homeowners, a 98-inch screen is no longer sufficient, making a 115″ TV essential for enhancing the grandeur of their home and delivering an unparalleled viewing experience.

    Leading the oversized screen era, TCL has leveraged its extensive research in Mini LED and large-screen TVs to introduce the flagship QD-Mini LED TV, the 115″ X11G Max. This model pushes the boundaries of Mini LED TV sizes, elevating the upper limit from 98 inches to 115 inches.

    Managing display quality becomes increasingly challenging as screen size increases, with 115 inches representing the maximum feasible size for liquid crystal displays without compromising quality. While standard LED TVs may suffer from reduced quality and pronounced halo effects, and laser TVs can exhibit blurred visuals with limitations, Micro LED TVs face technical hurdles and difficulties in mass production. Mini LED TVs, however, offer superior brightness control, perform well under various lighting conditions, and are supported by mature, scalable technology, enabling flawless visuals on a seamless, 115-inch screen. Currently, only TCL’s Huaxing factory, with its G11-generation production line, can produce screens of this size, enhancing display quality with its unique large-panel design process.

    In this context, the TCL 115″ X11G Max sets a new record for size in the QD-Mini LED TV category, providing homeowners with panoramic views akin to gazing upon vast landscapes, delivering a visual spectacle.

    Over 20,000 Lighting Zones: A New Benchmark in Mini LED Quality

    The TCL 115″ X11G Max takes TV technology to new heights, featuring over 20,000 backlighting zones, positioning it at the forefront of Mini LED lighting technology in the industry.

    The number of backlighting zones is a critical technical metric for Mini LED TVs. More zones mean smaller areas with more precise lighting control. The substantial increase in zones directly enhances overall display quality. TCL’s previous top model, the X11G, featured 5,184 zones.

    As the world’s first QD-Mini LED TV to exceed 20,000 lighting zones, the TCL 115″ X11G Max advances Mini LED technology to its pinnacle. With four times more lighting zones than the X11G, it achieves pixel-level precision, capturing every subtle detail in the frame. This innovation allows for a luxurious viewing experience, vividly reproducing the director’s vision and adding vibrant color to opulent homes.

    Unmatched Visual Experience with Peak Display Capabilities

    Beyond its impressive size, the TCL 115″ X11G Max employs cutting-edge technology, including a peak brightness of 5000 nits, the A++ Butterfly Star Screen, and robust chipset hardware, to push global display quality boundaries, solidifying its position as a leader in Mini LED visual experience.

    The TV’s high brightness provides detailed clarity and realistic scene reproduction. With six emission points instead of two in the new Mini LED hexagonal core, TCL achieves a 27.5% increase in brightness, delivering a perfect balance of light and shadow. This core is paired with an industry-first optical imaging micro-lens that offers precise light direction control, significantly enhancing uniformity and stability, and effectively solving the longstanding halo issues in the TV industry.

    These two groundbreaking technologies enable the TCL 115″ X11G Max to reach an XDR peak brightness of 5000 nits, offering a super high contrast ratio of 50 million to 1 and exceptional dynamic range, allowing viewers to see details previously invisible on less bright displays.

    The screen panel uses a high-end VA panel from TCL Huaxing with nanoscale biomimetic technology. Liquid crystal molecules in the “butterfly wing” microstructure provide precise light control, achieving a native contrast ratio of 7000:1, superior dark state performance, faster response times, and enhanced visual experience. A nanoscale anti-reflective layer reduces screen glare, ensuring clearer and more detailed visuals.

    Underneath this perfect IMAX-sized screen lies an advanced chip system, complemented by TCL’s proprietary TXR Mini LED visual enhancement chip. This combination unlocks the full potential of the visuals, delivering a museum-quality viewing experience, making every frame vivid, dynamic, deep, clear, natural, and realistic.

    Immersive Audio with Anchor 6.2.2 Hi-Fi Sound System

    As a leader in home theater standards with over 70 years of expertise, Anchor Sound Systems aims to create an immersive audio experience and is the official equipment partner for IMAX and the preferred choice for Hi-Fi enthusiasts. The TCL 115″ X11G Max features the Anchor 6.2.2 Hi-Fi sound system, providing 10-channel hardware-level ultra-surround sound, bringing cinema-quality audio directly to the home.

    Star ring channels on the left, top, and right sides merge sky sounds with left and right surround sounds, accurately reproducing sound directionality for a truly immersive experience. Two independent subwoofers at the back, made from premium materials, deliver deep, resonant sound, making the ground tremble with every bass note.

    Intuitive User Interface: Easy as a Smartphone

    Complementing its outstanding display, the TCL 115″ X11G Max features an intuitive user interface. With over 120 card component types and a 72% expansion in scenario coverage, it offers a user-friendly experience akin to using a smartphone.

    Modern TVs can be complicated, even for younger users. TCL’s interface allows open desktop management, letting users customize the layout with flexible components and avatar features. The remote control includes three customizable buttons for quick access to frequently used features, effectively resolving common pain points in TV operation.

    The UI eliminates startup ads, supports a 0.7-second fast startup, and 0.5-second app launches, ensuring instant responsiveness with every button press.

    Ultra-Slim Unibody Design with Exclusive SVIP Privileges

    The TCL 115″ X11G Max features a sleek, ultra-slim unibody design with no visible borders, enhancing the immersive feel. It mounts flush against the wall and offers three installation methods to suit various luxury home decor styles, setting a trend in TV design.

    The back of the TV has a starry texture that exudes understated luxury, while a concealed cable management system keeps things tidy. The USB 3.0 ports are conveniently relocated to the side, making it easier to connect external devices even when wall-mounted.

    On August 28, the TCL 115″ X11G Max became available on TCL’s official website and other platforms with a launch price of approximately $10,950, solidifying its status as the premier choice for luxury homes.

For every two Mini LED TVs sold in China, one is a TCL product. According to Omdia data, in 2022, TCL held a 15.1% market share in the 75-inch and above screen segment, ranking second globally.
