Collaboration Among Industry Leaders
Touch panel manufacturer GIS has joined forces with Rsee, Innolux, Yenrich Technology, and Ming Chi University of Technology. This initiative aims to enhance Taiwan’s display industry by strategically seizing opportunities in the overseas market through specialized roles.
Detailed Division of Responsibilities
The aviation display cockpit development program features a meticulous division of responsibilities. Innolux will supply the display panels, while GIS will provide low-reflective coating technology. Yenrich Technology will supply the Mini LEDs, and Rsee will handle the integration of these components.
Academic and Industrial Synergy
Chairman of Rsee, Jiang Congpei, emphasized the importance of advancing display technology in Taiwan. With the support of the Smart Display Industry Promotion Office (CIPO), Jiang’s team collaborates with Assistant Professor Wang Yiping from Ming Chi University of Technology to investigate the mechanisms of quantum dot color conversion and the thermal effects associated with sub-millimeter and micro light-emitting diodes (LEDs) in aviation displays. This research aims to establish an academic-industrial cooperation platform for optical detection.

Enhancing Competitive Edge
Jiang Congpei stressed that this project will integrate the expertise of various companies to develop high-quality displays for aviation cockpits. The initiative seeks to maintain the competitiveness of Taiwan’s display technology in international markets and to foster the overall upgrading of the local display industry.
