According to the National Intellectual Property Administration, HKC has filed a patent for a new technology titled “Lamp Board and Display Device,” with publication number CN119068781A and an application date of November 2024.

Patent Overview
The patent describes a lamp board and display device related to the field of massive transfer technology for LEDs. The lamp board consists of a base plate, multiple mounting assemblies, a base circuit board, and several LEDs.
The mounting assemblies include a main body part, air circulation components, a first expansion part, a first force transmission part, and a vibration plate. The air circulation components are connected to the first expansion part, while the first force transmission part is drive-connected to the first expansion part. The base circuit board is placed beneath the mounting assemblies, with LEDs mounted on the base circuit board.
When the base circuit board is powered on, it generates heat, causing the gas within the air circulation components to expand. This heated gas enters the first expansion part, causing it to expand, which in turn drives the first force transmission part, lifting the vibration plate and pushing the base circuit board. This action makes the LEDs on the base circuit board vibrate, thereby facilitating the massive transfer and installation of the LEDs.
This innovative design enables the lamp board itself to complete the massive transfer and installation of the LEDs, reducing the requirements for the massive transfer process in Micro-LED technology.

Previous Developments by HKC
Earlier this year, HKC also announced a related Micro-LED patent that addresses issues of positional shifts during the transfer of Micro-LED to a driver substrate.
