On November 8, according to the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the sales of the LP Display Display Technology Industrial Park project have exceeded $13.7 million since its launch.

COB Project Overview
The total investment of the project is $137 million, and it is being constructed by Zhuzhou Walton, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LP Display, which is based in Shenzhen. Since its opening and production in March 2024, the project has achieved sales of over $13.7 million in just 7 months.
LP Display Chairman Dai Zhiming stated that Zhuzhou has become the company’s primary manufacturing base, and there are future plans to relocate production workshops from Shenzhen and Dongguan to Zhuzhou, striving to make it the company’s “second home.”

Industry Growth and Project Phases
According to earlier reports, the LP Display Display Technology Industrial Park covers 45 acres and features more than 60,000 square meters of new construction. The park will be developed in three phases. After the first phase of production commenced this year, it will achieve an annual output of 50,000 square meters of Micro-LED-COB display panels, with an estimated output value of $113 million. By the completion of all three phases in 2025, the park will produce 150,000 square meters of Micro-LED-COB panels annually, with an expected output value of approximately $278 million.

Advancements in Mini/Micro LED Technology
In recent years, LP Display has been actively investing in Flip Chip COB technology and driving the development of the Mini/Micro LED industry.
