Regarding self-innovation in film projection technology, Huaxia Leyard boasts five DCI-certified LED screens developed by Leyard:
- October 2022: P3 pixel pitch LED film screen (14 meters long, 7.2 meters high) received DCI certification.
- March 2023: P5 pixel pitch LED film screen (10.2 meters long, 5.4 meters high) passed DCI certification.
- June 2023: P0.9 pixel pitch 4K Micro LED film screen (3.8 meters long, 2 meters high) achieved DCI certification.
- September 2023: P5 pixel pitch LED film screen (10.2 meters long, 5.4 meters high) secured DCI certification.
- November 2023: P5 pixel pitch LED film screen (20.4 meters long, 10.8 meters high) obtained DCI certification.
In addition, Leyard has developed multiple LED film screens in collaboration with partners like LG Electronics, achieving DCI certification for a total of 10 self-developed and co-developed LED film screens. This provides Huaxia Leyard a significant advantage in the application market, enabling it to meet the diverse demands of the market.
Market Deployment
Globally, over 20 theaters have installed Leyard LED film screens, with widespread deployments in internationally renowned cinemas such as France’s Alcazar Cinema, the U.S.’s CGV Buena Park, and Spain’s Odeon Multicines. Moreover, more than ten theaters in China are currently implementing similar installations. The screens support various resolutions, including 2K and 4K, covering a range from VIP rooms to giant screens, effectively catering to the diverse needs of the new era of digital cinema.
