Overview of the Patent Application
On July 9, HKC Co., Ltd. announced that its invention patent for “Light Board and Display Device” has entered the public examination phase.
This application pertains to the field of mass transfer of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The light board comprises a base plate, a partition plate, multiple flow-guiding components, and several LEDs. The base plate features an airflow channel that includes multiple ventilation holes and a main airflow path; the main airflow path is situated between the partition plate and the base plate. Each flow-guiding component has a first diverging channel and a second diverging channel, with a first positioning element located on the side of the flow-guiding component away from the partition plate. Each LED includes a second positioning element that corresponds with the first positioning element. When the LEDs are laid onto the flow-guiding components, the airflow alternately passes through the first and second diverging channels, lifting the LEDs so they gradually adjust their positions on the flow-guiding components until the first and second positioning elements align, completing the installation of the LEDs.
The structure of the flow guiding channels in this light board facilitates the installation of LEDs, reducing the requirements for mass transfer processes in Micro LED displays and enhancing both the efficiency and accuracy of LED installation.
