    In an era where technology evolves rapidly, innovation remains the core driving force behind industry competition. As a leader in the display field, HKC has recently achieved a series of remarkable breakthroughs in panel research. These accomplishments reflect HKC’s deep expertise in metal oxide technology and its potential to inject new vitality and possibilities into the display industry.

    36.5-inch 8K MNT Panel: Setting New Standards for Resolution and Display Quality

    As display technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, the demand for higher display quality increases. Desktop monitors have transitioned from 1080p to 2.5K, 4K, and even 5K/6K resolutions. However, the 8K MNT market remains largely untapped. Aside from the cost factor, the challenges lie in achieving high pixel density, short pixel charging times, large panel loads, and high signal delays. To address these issues, HKC’s second-generation metal oxide technology (HMO) provides the necessary high electron mobility and uniformity for large-sized panels.

    To meet market demand, HKC has developed the 36.5-inch 8K MNT, with a pixel density (PPI) of 241—almost 50% higher than the current 27-inch 4K displays, which have a PPI of 163. This significant improvement enhances visual quality and delivers a remarkably realistic display experience.

    In addition, the 36.5-inch 8K panel features seamless switching between 8K 120Hz and 4K 240Hz, catering to multi-use scenarios such as gaming, ultra-high-definition video watching, and office applications. These display modes offer consumers more flexibility, with key features like DCI-P3 98% wide color gamut and 1ms quick response further enhancing the visual experience.


    16-inch 1Hz Ultra-Low Refresh Rate Laptop Panel: Empowering AI with Low Power Consumption

    Unlike traditional laptops that prioritize high refresh rates, the new generation of AI PCs (artificial intelligence personal computers) is focusing on ultra-low refresh rates for energy efficiency. AI workloads demand significant computing power, which increases the energy requirements of CPUs and GPUs. Ultra-low refresh rates can significantly reduce power consumption, enabling efficient AI computations.

    HKC has leveraged the low leakage current properties of metal oxides to develop a 1Hz ultra-low refresh rate panel. This technology overcomes challenges like LCD polarization, brightness decay, and flickering. The display’s performance is exceptional, with no visible brightness decay, flicker levels below -60dB, and it meets Intel LPDT 4.1 standards.


    12.3-inch Touchscreen Car Panel: Reducing Costs with Innovative IC Technology

    In the high-end LCD automotive market, larger displays with high resolutions typically require multiple display and touch ICs, leading to increased costs. HKC’s metal oxide technology enables the development of Dual-gate (DRD) driving technology, which reduces the number of display ICs by half. Additionally, TRD (Triple-gate) driving technology further reduces IC numbers by two-thirds, significantly cutting costs.

    The 12.3-inch automotive panel also features the TP-MUX (Touch Panel Multiplexer) technology, which reduces the number of touch ICs and, when combined with TRD + TP-DEMUX technologies, delivers a new level of cost savings in metal oxide applications.


    10.1-inch Mini LED Direct Display: High Brightness and Seamless Integration

    Due to its high brightness, modularity, and easy maintenance, Mini LED is increasingly favored in high-end commercial displays and home theaters. HKC has developed a 10.1-inch Mini LED display with a pixel pitch of 0.7mm, 1000 nits brightness, DCI-P3 98% color gamut, and a 0.3mm bezel that supports “zero-gap” seamless integration.

    Thanks to the high electron mobility of metal oxide, Mini LED displays can achieve fine pitch and excellent display quality, meeting the needs of advanced commercial applications.


    2.6-inch Four-Color Electronic Shelf Label: Enhancing Efficiency and Sustainability

    As awareness of low-carbon and energy-saving solutions grows, Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) are being increasingly adopted by supermarkets, convenience stores, and pharmacies to replace traditional paper price tags. HKC has developed a four-color ESL that uses metal oxide’s high mobility properties, reducing parasitic capacitance and power consumption while improving brightness and display quality.

    Compared to the current mainstream a-Si designs, HKC’s four-color electronic label offers superior performance in terms of energy efficiency and display quality, marking a significant step forward in the ESL market.
