On December 29, LEYARD and HUAXIA LEYARD unveiled the world’s first Micro LED Cinema Screen under the “HUAN the LED” brand at the Taihang State Guesthouse Xiaobai Building Cinemas in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China. This groundbreaking screen measures 3.8 meters in width, and 2 meters in height, with a P0.9 pixel pitch and 4K resolution. Not only is it the first of its kind globally, but it is also the only Micro LED cinema screen in the industry to have received DCI certification.
The product officially received DCI certification in June 2023. Featuring Micro LED full flip-chip and packaging technology, the screen integrates a complete cinema playback system. This design ensures superior stability, reliability, and visual performance, creating a highly immersive cinematic experience that meets the highest demands of the professional projection market and satisfies the cultural consumption needs of audiences. As of now, LEYARD has 10 certified LED cinema screens—the largest number of DCI-certified LED cinema screens in the industry, and the widest global application. This achievement provides HUAXIA LEYARD with a substantial advantage in market expansion, offering diverse solutions to meet the evolving demands of the market.

Since its establishment, HUAXIA LEYARD has continuously leveraged the strategic resources of LEYARD Group and China Film Group, two leading players in their respective industries. This collaboration has propelled the company toward new stages of growth, pioneering new chapters in film projection technology. The successful unveiling of the world’s first Micro LED cinema screen marks a significant milestone in the innovation and industrial upgrading of China’s film projection technology.

While providing an exceptional immersive viewing experience for audiences, HUAXIA LEYARD’s Micro LED cinema screens are actively exploring differentiated and diversified cinema-grade display products and solutions. These include modular transport and installation for Micro LED cinema screen splicing boxes, making them versatile and easy to use in various settings such as home theaters, VIP sections of commercial cinemas, and more.

The latest upgrade of the Taihang State Guesthouse Xiaobai Building Cinemas in Shijiazhuang not only inherits the functions of traditional cinemas but also leverages the advanced LED cinema screen technology to offer diversified operational modes. It is expected that in the future, a more diverse cinema ecosystem will gradually unfold, providing moviegoers with a wider range of entertainment options and contributing to the development of local cultural and tourism industries.
