BOE Varitronix is the sole sales platform for BOE Group’s global automotive business and holds a leading position in the automotive TFT display and large and medium-sized display module markets. The company’s current technologies for automotive displays include Oxide, 8K, BD Cell, Mini LED, and OLED.
Expansion of Production Capacity
In 2022, BOE Varitronix, in collaboration with BOE Technology Group, officially launched the Chengdu automotive display production base. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to produce approximately 15 million automotive display units annually.
Financial Performance
In the first half of this year, BOE Varitronix achieved a revenue of HKD 6.157 billion, a growth of 18% year-over-year. However, the company’s shareholders’ profit amounted to HKD 172 million, representing a 15% decrease compared to the previous year.
