Overview of the Patent Application
On July 5, BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. announced that its invention patent for “Display Substrate, Preparation Method, and Display Device” had entered the public examination phase.
Details of the Invention
This invention discloses a display substrate, preparation method, and display device. The display substrate in this embodiment includes a substrate and a pixel driving circuit positioned on the substrate. The pixel driving circuit consists of a first thin-film transistor (TFT), an oxide thin-film transistor, and a first capacitor. The first thin-film transistor is a top-gate TFT, while the oxide thin-film transistor is a bottom-gate TFT. The gate electrode of the first thin-film transistor is reused as the gate electrode of the oxide thin-film transistor and also as the first electrode of the first capacitor.

Advantages of the Design
In this embodiment, the gate electrode of the top-gate low-temperature polycrystalline silicon thin-film transistor serves directly as the gate electrode for the bottom-gate oxide thin-film transistor. This configuration saves the gate metal of the oxide thin-film transistor and the via connections, thereby reducing the footprint of the Micro LED pixel driving circuit and significantly improving the resolution of Micro LEDs.
