    On December 19, 2024, the World Conference on Innovation and Development in the Display Industry was held in Chengdu. Global display industry leaders and experts gathered to explore the latest trends in industry upgrades and future development directions. Dr. Gao Wenbao, President of BOE, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech, “The Internet of Screens, Empowering Innovation with Intelligence,” resonating strongly with attendees.

    Keynote by Dr. Gao Wenbao: “Focusing on Core Technologies for a Green Future”

    ADS Pro: World-First 55-inch UB Cell 3.0 AI TV

    In the ADS Pro (high-end LCD) experience zone, BOE debuted the world’s first 55-inch UB Cell 3.0 AI TV. This innovative TV integrates high color gamut, ultra-high contrast ratio, and ultra-low screen reflectivity, while also incorporating sensors that detect external temperature and light variations. These sensors enable the TV to adapt its display based on different environments, offering an intelligent and adaptive viewing experience.

    Mini LED and OLED Innovations for Gaming Enthusiasts

    In the ADS Pro+Mini LED section, BOE unveiled the 16-inch gaming laptop and the 31.5-inch gaming monitor, both featuring cutting-edge Mini LED backlighting technology. These products deliver picture quality comparable to OLED displays, with industry-leading contrast ratios that enhance the immersive gaming experience. The high refresh rate and dynamic image optimization ensure that every action by the player is captured with stunning accuracy and fluidity.

    f-OLED: Pioneering Flexible Display Technology

    In the f-OLED (high-end flexible display) experience area, BOE showcased its revolutionary foldable display technology, which is expected to redefine the smartphone industry. As a leader in flexible OLED technology, BOE‘s flexible display solutions are widely adopted by leading global brands such as OPPO, vivo, Honor, Nubia, and Red Magic, providing users with crisp, vivid, and eye-friendly display experiences.

    α-MLED: Cutting-Edge Mini/Micro LED Display

    In the α-MLED (high-end Mini/Micro LED) area, BOE presented its 27-inch gaming monitor with Mini LED backlighting technology. Featuring 4608 LEDs and a DCI-P3 color gamut of up to 98%, the monitor offers unparalleled resolution and refresh rates, delivering flawless precision to recreate every gaming detail with exceptional clarity.

    Leading the Global Green Revolution in Display Technology

    Driven by the principles of technological innovation and green development, BOE continues to push the boundaries of display performance while reducing power consumption. The company has pioneered low-carbon technologies in various product categories such as laptops, TVs, and smartphones, creating products that excel in performance and environmental sustainability.

    For example, BOE’s 16-inch laptop uses 60% recyclable materials, successfully reducing carbon emissions by about 50%. Another AI-powered lightweight laptop has taken recyclable materials to the next level, incorporating them into key components such as the screen, structure, motherboard, and packaging, achieving a 63% recyclable content ratio and cutting carbon emissions by nearly 50% during manufacturing.     Moreover, BOE has developed the first flexible OLED product with LTPO+Tandem technology, which reduces power consumption by 20%, marking a new milestone in OLED display development.
