    The ANTGAMER M27QK is equipped with a 2K resolution Fast-VA panel, featuring an impressive 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time. With MiniLED backlighting technology, it achieves a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 200,000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio.     I. ANTGAMER M27QK Key Features Overview

    1. MiniLED Backlight Technology: The MiniLED backlight enables multiple independently adjustable zones, offering a 200,000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio, resulting in rich, layered image quality.
    2. 2K + 240Hz High Resolution & Refresh Rate: Equipped with a 27-inch 2K resolution Fast-VA panel, it supports a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG rapid response time. The monitor is also compatible with AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies, helping to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering during high-quality gaming.
    3. HDR 1000 Certification: Thanks to MiniLED backlighting, the monitor achieves a peak brightness of 1000 nits, earning the DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Enabling HDR enhances the contrast between light and dark scenes, reproducing a more realistic visual effect.
    4. Wide Color Gamut: It offers 100% sRGB, 99% Adobe RGB, and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, providing stunning gaming visuals while meeting professional requirements for design and graphics work.
    5. Five-Way Joystick Button: The OSD menu control is designed with a five-way joystick, offering smoother and more efficient adjustment compared to traditional button controls.

    II. Design and Build

    The ANT GAMER M27QK features an all-black color scheme with green LED lighting, presenting a strong gaming aesthetic. The monitor has ultra-thin bezels on three sides, maximizing the screen area for a more immersive gaming experience.

    The back of the display is designed with sharp lines, with the ANT GAMER logo positioned at the top center. Two RGB light strips flank the logo, supporting multiple color adjustment modes and synchronization with TT PC cases to enhance the gaming atmosphere.

    The stand features a tool-free assembly method, simply requiring the user to press down the monitor onto the base. The stand is robust and stable, with minimal wobble during angle adjustments. A hidden cable management slot keeps the desk neat and organized.

    The base of the stand features a built-in totem projection light, which projects the “War Ant” totem as soon as the monitor is powered on. Players can also customize the projected pattern according to their preferences.

    The base design is a three-legged structure that provides excellent stability while freeing up desk space, allowing unrestricted mouse movement for an optimal gaming experience.

    The ANT GAMER M27QK is equipped with exceptional ergonomic features. The monitor offers multi-directional angle adjustments, including vertical height, tilt, swivel, and rotation, allowing users to find the most comfortable viewing position. Additionally, it includes a VESA 75x75mm wall mount hole, providing the convenience of wall mounting or compatibility with monitor stands.

    For connectivity, the ANT GAMER M27QK comes with two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DP 1.4 port, ensuring smooth 2K 240Hz video signal transmission. The multiple video inputs allow users to connect both a PC and a gaming console, with easy signal switching via the OSD menu, avoiding the hassle of constantly unplugging cables. An audio jack allows users to connect headphones or external speakers, enhancing their audio-visual setup.

    The control aspect of the ANT GAMER M27QK also stands out. The OSD menu utilizes a five-way joystick design, offering more flexibility and improved accuracy compared to traditional button layouts. In addition, the monitor is equipped with three dedicated hotkeys, enabling quick switching between FPS, RPG, and RCG gaming modes. Users can also customize and define additional shortcut modes within the menu.

    In Scenario Mode, the ANT GAMER M27QK monitor, in addition to the common display modes, also features three professional game modes: FPS, RPG, and RCG, allowing players of different game types to select the optimal visual quality. Additionally, this monitor supports three color modes—sRGB, Adobe RGB, and DCI-P3—to meet the needs of professional designers.

    After enabling HDR mode, the monitor effectively enhances the contrast between bright and dark scenes, revealing more details in the picture. Combined with the Local Dimming function, it restores more accurate and realistic color performance in the visuals.

    The refresh rate is crucial for FPS game players, and Cyberpunk 2077, an RPG that blends open world, adventure, and shooting elements, is an ideal game to test a monitor’s overall performance. The ANT GAMER M27QK features a 240Hz high refresh rate and a 1ms GTG response time provided by the Fast-VA panel, ensuring clear and smooth visuals even during fast movement. Additionally, it is equipped with FreeSync Premium technology, which ensures tear-free and stutter-free gameplay even in complex scenes.

    Furthermore, the ANT GAMER M27QK also comes with an aim assist feature, offering four different crosshair styles to help players quickly aim at opponents and gain an advantage in battles.


    IV. Color Performance Test

    Next, we tested the color performance of the ANT GAMER M27QK using the Spyder X Elite color calibrator. The tests included color gamut, tone response, grayscale, color temperature consistency, color uniformity, and color accuracy. The monitor was restored to factory settings and warmed up for one hour before testing. Due to environmental differences, the test results may slightly differ from the official data.

    The ANT GAMER M27QK achieved 100% sRGB coverage, 96% Adobe RGB coverage, and 95% P3 coverage.

    In terms of tone response, the black curve closely matched the “Luminosity 2.2” curve, indicating strong tone response performance.

    For grayscale, the monitor showed stable color temperature from 40% to 90% brightness, maintaining a color temperature between 7600-7800K.

    The color temperature consistency was tested under 0-75% brightness, where the white point maintained a color temperature of 7600K, slightly cooler than the standard.

    In the color uniformity test, the fourth quadrant of the screen was closest to the D65 standard, while the third quadrant showed a slight deviation with a discrepancy of 4.3. Overall, the monitor exhibited excellent color uniformity.

    The color accuracy test showed an average △E value of 0.97 across 48 colors. Since △E < 2 is undetectable by the human eye, this indicates that the ANT GAMER M27QK offers great color accuracy, meeting the requirements of professional designers.
