With the global strategy of innovation-driven development gaining momentum, new types of productivity have become a crucial force in driving high-quality economic and social growth. In response to the complex and ever-changing international environment, the Micro LED display industry is actively seizing development opportunities, enhancing technological innovation, and accelerating industrialization. The industry is at a pivotal stage characterized by comprehensive breakthroughs in mass production technology, gradual improvement in the construction of the industrial chain, and continuous expansion of application scenarios. By the first half of 2024, the industrial chain has demonstrated positive progress in technological innovation, capacity expansion, and market application, with several chip, module, and display projects entering the mass production phase.
The advancements in Micro LED display technology are accelerating its path to marketization, and large-scale mass production is expected to be gradually achieved. As technology breakthroughs occur and costs decrease, the range and depth of application scenarios will continue to expand. The maturation of the technology and growing market demand are driving major global companies to increase their R&D investments, thereby enhancing Micro LED’s advantages in display performance, production efficiency, and yield rates, which further propels the comprehensive upgrade of the display industry.
Faced with both opportunities and challenges, The 7th China (International) Micro LED Display Summit Forum 2024 will be held from November 14 to 16 in Fuzhou. Under the theme of “Innovation Driven, the Light of New Quality” the forum will explore breakthroughs in mass production, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement, and examine the latest cutting-edge technologies and application scenarios to support high-quality industry development.
